Your mission depends on your ability to connect with and mobilize others. True engagement – of donors, partners, volunteers, and the public – demands both a clear, inspiring story and ambassadors who can deliver it with ease, consistency and confidence.

Join BuildingBlox and our special guest, Laura Bradley Davis of LBD Consulting, for an interactive three-hour workshop on how to craft a meaningful organizational narrative and communicate more effectively with stakeholders. Participants will learn what makes a compelling “master narrative” and gain practical tools for communicating in a range of situations with greater confidence, control, flexibility and impact.

What Will Participants Gain?

  • Guidance on how to develop a master narrative for your organization.
  • Practical tools to become a more effective communicator in group and one-on-one contexts.
  • Greater awareness of your own and others’ communications styles with tools to tailor the content and delivery of information to engender a positive response.
  • Experience – through role play and simulation – applying new skills and concepts so you can put them to immediate use.

Who Should Attend?
While all nonprofit professionals are welcome, this workshop will be especially useful for Board members, executive directors, development and communications staff, and people in managerial roles.

The cost for this training is $75 per single participant and $50 per person for two or more participants from the same organization.

Please register by May 30.  Space is limited and available on a first-come, first served basis:
